I have a strange option - extra speakers, subwoofer, but no extra amp - was very simple to fit an aftermarket head unit though, so am not complaining ;)
Ive seen these w168 amps for sale alot on ebay. Bout £60

I have been umming & aaing about whether eventually go for a set of the wheels fitted to the A32k and A38. The A32k wheels are nicked off the C32 AMG and the A38 sat on SLK AMG. Both will fit onto my car as long as I fit the correct rolling diameter tyres. I use a great online tool www.willtheyfit.com
Just found a set of C32 wheels on ebay but they are nearly £700!!! And need a refurb!

@Bobby Dazzler was selling a set before, Rob you still got em? ;)

Sorry Edd they’re sold now. They were collected a few weeks ago.

Everyone likes a challenge! Time to add a dedicated amp :)

Ah, interesting ... I discounted W169 amps, as they were fibre optic type (as were CDCs and phone consoles), and I don't have the MOST network anymore, since I upgraded the head unit.

... Fitted partners winter wheels yesterday - immensely practical in the Highlands but looks.... Well Yak comes to mind.
I don't fit trims onto mine but the current Mrs Edd1968 likes them! ;)

... You lost me at fibre optic ! ;)
Unlike the W168 and other models of the same period, Mercedes switched (briefly) to fibre optic media network (D2B and then MOST), so W169 amps are fibre optic, as are CDCs, etc.
As my head unit is an aftermarket Android type, I no longer have the fibre optic MOST network, so can't retrofit OEM amp from the same model as mine ...

Yes, I tried to find those separate seats for the rear too - no luck.
Got myself a very nice grey nappa leather interior though, so was happy with that ...

Here's that rear armrest, just to tease you a little bit ;)

Obviously, I couldn't leave the armrest unmodified (USB port and carbon lining):

One other mod I can recommend - rear wiper from a W245 (suggested at the time by a fellow member here) - looks better, and fits without any alterations:

Oh, and the bonnet star:

:)
By the way, my W245 rear Beday arrived today!! ;)

I've had a busy Sunday morning, I have had an intermittent issue with my o/s front fog lamp. I've also been fed up up with it looking darker than the n/s one.
So I whipped off the front bumper (4 screws & 4 plastic retainers) - off in 5 minutes. Took off the fog lamp from the bumper and the wiring had obviously been repaired at some point - by Bodge-it-and-scarper Ltd. What a dogs dinner!
Tided up the wiring, Cleaned everything up, gave my grill a fresh coat of satin black and it was all finished by elevens's! :)

So, where can I optaun one of these ar rests? There won't be any new ones so anyone got one lying around that I could give some coin for?
I read somewhere that they were made by a firm that produced picnic cool boxes. But more than that I dobt know.

I bought mine off eBay, and wish I kept it - it wouldn't be out of place in the A200 ...
It was still boxed, with MB stickers, fitting guide, etc, and I got it for less that a third of its original price, ten years on.

Just in case you need a part number (also here is the inside spare wheel storage box).

Thanks chap. I might even contact MB direct and see if there's any new old stock lying around either here or in Germany.

If you manage to source it, don't forget the fixing strap - B6 781 0162 - I bought mine from MB Northampton back in 2012.

I think so too - also worth checking a couple of German OE parts suppliers.

Found the strap: https://www.online-teile.com/mercedes-ersatzteile/search_results.php?keywords=B67810162
They don't have the armrest, unfortunately, but maybe get in touch and they can source it for you?

Just in case the search link expires (some do) - here it is directly:

You're a rock star thanks for that. I'm determined to find the armrest.
I'll grab this Gurt from them to start with. ;)

You can always ambush the charming old gentleman, who bought my car (with all the goodies, including the above pictured armrest) ... ;)
There were also: rear sun blind; spare wheel storage box; leather phone console; extra large leather headrest, which, when inserted under the centre of the rear bench (like in that pic), makes a perfect bottle holder

Are we gonna be in breach of some kind of GDPR law if you give me his details? ;)

 I wasn't quite serious Edd, although I suppose I can ask him ...
