Congrats! That is a bargain.

Check the back of the rear seat (unzip at the bottom of the ⅔ seat section), to see if you have a metal rod (locking strut) hidden there.
If not, you're welcome to mine - it was never used, other thang to see how it works - there's a thread in Classifieds about it. Starts with FREE: :)
I found it. I don’t think it was ever unzipped before today. :D

I also found out that the rear seat can be taken out completely. Little car full of surprises.

Remote is now sorted. Previous owner have put the batteries in upside down.

..... I’ve been looking at an AMG A210 online....

The only thing kind of putting me off is the way the grey/white panels on the seats have worn.
The only other one I’ve seen had similarly bad wear on those bits, I wonder how much it would cost to have those bits renewed by a trimmer?.......
Easy fix,
Get hold of a sanding pad, not to abrasive, and gently rub off the baubles of Alcantara off. You'll need a hoover mind.
Regarding dirt, the stuff is synthetic therefore it's washable. Mine were dirty and worn, they look new now.
The dark grey leather will clean up with a good leather cleaner.

Mine and Mrs Edd1968 had never been used, no doubt like David said, the previous owners hadn't read their Manuals to discover that they were there.

I think I have a new project.
I have found one in Germany that is the exact spec I've always wanted. Special colour, option AMG 1 wheels and those individual rear seats.
Anyone want to buy mine off me?
Flyinspanner??

Unfortunately mine came without manuals. Do you know of a link to a pdf one? I couldn’t find anything yet.

I want this. ...
I could even live with the colour.
The Germans always look after their cars better than we do. It's even got an old Nokia6310 in its OEM cradle

Yup, if you see this, then it's just a turn of a handle:

That would be realy good to have, but this option was not added unfortunately. Just a standard seat.

Thanks a lot. Both brochures are now in books section for before sleep reading. :thumb:
... You'll be in danger of being as sad as me at this rate! ;)

How cool is that, I didn't even have that. Just downloaded. Thanks for that sir! :)
My pleasure :)

I had a whole bunch of printed stuff, that went with the car, when I sold it - from price lists and brochures to official Press Release pack (in beautiful huge binder - should've kept it!) with photos, CD and even VHS ...

I copied the CD and converted the VHS into mp4 - happy to share ;)

Some were even in duplicates, so still have printed copies of the facelift brochure and price list :p

Just found out that the rear bench can move forward and backwards and that there is a space for stowing a middle head rest. I feel like a child in a candy shop fGs. Surprises surprises.

I have a brochure also, found a new one on ebay.
You should have kept it all, I'd have done a job lot with you! :)

Hehe, keep looking, you'll find more ;)
BTW the larger head rests go in the back not in the front. And you'll be needing an armrest if it hasn't already got one. Flea Bay..

Yes, as Edd said already, tall headrests are for the side rear seats.

I bought an extra one (tall type), and used it as a bottle holder - perfect.

This pic was taken before I replaced it, so it's a short headrest:
