Iv got a set of original AMG alloy wheels i want to fit to my W202, what should the thread length be, 40 or 45 mm ? :wallbash:

Both 40mm & 45mm sound far too long to me.

Shouldn't really be more than 28mm long as far as I know, but thread lengths may well be as long as you suggest on some models/ wheels.

Hopefully someone more familiar with your car or these wheels will chime in to advise further.

@Rashman, the standard bolts for steel wheels are 28mm, these need to be longer.

Have you got the bolts or do you need some, John?

I need some Paul, but im unsure which of those 2 lengths i need :wallbash:

Question answered, should be 40mm of thread :D
