Can anyone recommend a good and reliable Alloy Wheel Courier. I am based in the Hampshire area near Portsmouth. Most the companies I called require a trade account, but I am only selling a set of wheels as a one off deal.

I have seen similar services on ebay but was not sure how safe and reliable they are.

I have used parcel2go a few times, they are pretty good. They are an agent for companies like FedEx, DHL etc. Just make sure you pack them well, plenty of bubble wrap and cardboard. Also make sure you take out the insurance.

a few years back on 2 or two occassions, i sent through the post office...

cost about £10 a wheel at the time, but it worked and i passed on the cost to the buyer.. prices may have gone up since then though.

good luck

Alloys are 18" and have tyres, I did think about it. Can you imagine if 3 got there and 1 got lost. Now that I wrote this this is what will happen if I do use royal Mail.

I use www.parcel2go.com about £8 per wheel (you may have to be ecconomical with the weight but I have sent 200+ items
