7 days after the warranty ran out too!

I hope you realise that a year's warranty doesn't negate your statutory rights to expect something to last longer than a year!

Really? I've just had MB Leicester do some rust repair (under mobilo/goodwill claim), they've told me their work is guaranteed for 3 years.

Body shop gurantee the work for 1 year and MB pick up the remaining two year.
