There is not much to the air con, if on lowest setting on temp and the air con light is on, it should blow cold air so I would say its a trip to the dealer I am afraid.
Dealers it is as a fan is also going mad in engine bay lol
I hope this is not a sign of things to come, I had 3 years of trouble free motoring with my S3. I really hope I am not going to have problem after problem with the A35.
Er, read the manual...
I think you're forgetting that only a few people have that car and even fewer are on the forum, therefore your manual
is the first port of call. And nowhere did you state that you'd checked it. Have you tried searching the online version?
What are people's thoughts on the Burmester system so far?
I have been playing with various settings on the bass, mid and treble levels and I can't honestly hear any difference.
I am beginning to wonder if I have an issue with mine or if its just not that great of a setup.
That's not new Chris, a lot of people dont and cant. I wouldnt spec it for that reason.
If it was me, Id leave those adjustments, get some great source material like lossless, change the sound stages and nothing else and use boost. Thats all I'd do If I had it
I have read that the Burmester spec is watered down compared to the full fat spec on other AMG's.
I'm just hoping that it's no worse than Dynaudio on the R which in itself is nowhere near B&O standards from the S3.

From someone who really likes his music, its very disappointing. The B&O in the S3 was 100 times better, if it was available as a completely stand alone option I certainly wouldn't be paying for it.
Bit of an audiophile, have a high end Denon system coupled with Mission speakers which is now hardly used due to having Sonos 5, 3 and 1 set up around the house.
So originally back in the day always ticked the audio upgrade option which is something that would never do now and the reason is that the standard systems are perfectly acceptable for the car environment, as the times I get the optimum conditions to play any decent tracks are limited, mainly a long motorway run.
Most of the time, its relatively short to medium runs and with passengers and where tend to listen to the radio.
So the conditions, are not perfect for listening to tracks as you would like to (in way you would at home)
Thats not to say you cannot still appreciate decent ability from the unit and thats where state the difference between the standard and the upgrades in the car environment are not worth the money as for example my most recent motorway run played Heaven 17 Penthouse and Pavement an album thats very synthesized and sharp and the standard unit did more than a decent job in doing the album justice,
You are not losing enough audio to justify the difference and if want to spend that money spend it on dampers! which with the better ride will make your audio sound much better anyway
