After receiving 2x 1 hour AMG Experience sassions for Christmas, my brother and i hopped in his Porsche yesterday afternoon and headed down to Brooklands.
It was possibly one of the best afternoons ive had in a long time, even though the weather was lousy and the wet circle was out of action, there wasn't a dull moment on the track!
My brother was in a C63 saloon and I was in a CLS63, both of which were truly awesome! We had the whole experience filmed onto SD cards, a bit of a gimmick at £29 each, but it's not every day you get to push a £80k car to it limits, especially at 23!
i cant recommend this enough, as i have done a ferrari track day and a subaru one and all you do is drive around the track, whilst at Brooklands we got to try all sorts like the black ice skid bit, and the slalom bit. Plus we got to spend most of the afternoon wondering about Mercedes World (my 3rd visit in the last 8 months, but my brothers 1st) which is always good fun.
All i need to do now is start saving for an AMG CLS!
I'll get some pics up when i get round to uploading them.
