AMG Emblem

PS, not a badge on the ass end, not really required as its a Jag 😇

PPL are going on as it’s a crime to have a AMG badge on a non AMG so should they all ditch their standard AMG wheels and mats that came from the factory as it’s not a true so called AMG

This has gone on for too long now.
Hands up all those who want this to close.

Why? It helps keep all the bile and negative posting in one place, though it does show up the forum a bit too I guess. I know it's certainly putting me off the place, but thankfully there are some posters who have helped with information about certain jobs/parts I need in other threads.

Only those with false badging will want it to end.;).

Me too. An owner of an older AMG could give me a hard time over the AMG badge on my C55 as it's a 2006 , so built when AMG was wholly owned by Daimler Benz.

So not an AMG ??

PS: I do think it's tosspottery sticking an AMG/M/Brabus/Alpine badge on a basic model ,but there's no real harm in it.

I find it entertaining & presumably others do as well.:D :)
This reminds of when I was a kid and ppl saying my dad’s bigger than yours now it’s my car is better than yours 😂😂

Exactly - people who don’t own an actual AMG, putting on an AMG badge on the car and saying “mine is better than yours”. Or, are they saying “I wish I could afford an AMG” and are pretending they have a real one......?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Seems to be a bit of one upmanship here but at the end of the day we all have one thing in common we own Mercs or have owned them regardless of it being a so called true AMG fake badge or not

Exactly.
A nice car is a nice car, irrespective of what it is, or the badge.
Personally I tend to de-badge cars anyway. I'm very, very mean and I hate the badges ripping holes in my wash mitts when washing my motors.
It's also why I wash cars in the rain; saves on the water bill ;)

I do not have an AMG (never have) - cannot be oneupmanship on my part.

No
Only on the mats, De-badged
