Yup... and, sadly, it's all in the past. I bet you won't read about the 5 greatest electric motors of all times 50 years from now.....

It's a bit like the £10,000 IWC Perpetual Calendar watch... with a built-in mechanical calculator that displays the moon face accurately and will only need adjusting in... 45 million years (yes, you read it correctly). An unparalleled marvel of engineering no doubt, and the ingenuity behind this design isn't diminished by the fact that every PC can easily calculate it for free (or that none of us will be around in 45 million years, even in the unlikely event that the watch itself will survive for that long). But I digress....

Apart from not being AMG engines, neither would rate in the top 10 of decent MB engines unfortunately.
