AMG kompressor bolt on?

so i saw this on ebay....

What else would i need to put it onto my cl55 (non kompressor) amg? How hard would it be?! Anyone else done it?

Would you just plug it in, get a remap and go or am i dreaming?!

dreaming.compression ratio need to be lowered and few other expensive mods

Yes, I just happened to be reading about the superchargers fitted to the E55K and came across the same question on another forum.

In a nutshell - not really.

You could run it at a lower PSI but the components in the non-K engine are not as tough.

There was a recommendation for a Kleeman SC kit I think it was but that was $4500!

Ohhh well it was just an idea , cheers anyway guys... Not much point in shelling out 2k... May aswell buy a cl55k for the extra money!

I tried modifying an Escort XR3i a long long time ago but it ends up eating money and in the end - you are left with something that is faster but still not fast...

I just buy a faster car to start with now and leave it standard - although mine came with a few mods granted.

Much easier (and cheaper in the long run)...
