AMG trackday, gauging intrest

Hi Neiltodd, thanks for your intrest, your no. 26 on the list as at date. Just need to point out, that bare in mind Neil and any others that follow on to flag up their own intrest its a 25 car day, and that the first 25 posted up parties have priority. This said, I veiw the list with prehaps 8-10 guys who will attend what ever day it turns out to be, leaving only a percentage of the others attending once a date has been selected. So if your intrest is strong, you and a few others would possible still get on board. I will be getting the available dates hopefully tomorrow night when I get in, and will post them up for discussion.

Interested subject to dates like everyone else I think.

he is currently away but i guess by the time he returns we will have an indication of some possible dates

I'll be in - great circuit, Goodwood and a beautiful drive down there if the sun is out.

Only ever taken c300BHP out on a track before, nervous about my new purchase (E55)!!

At least there is good run-off at Goodwood (on most of the corners!!).

Just thought I'd offer this up... now I know this intended as an AMG gathering, then MB and onward but I'm pretty active on AudiSRS forum, if it meant saving the dates for the guys that are keen on here I could post up over on SRS and gauge interest to make up numbers?

Some sort of MB / Audi German Marques love in?? I'll get my coat lol

Nigel many thanks for jumping on board for this proposed soiree, its good to have yourself and your beast with us, not only to have you there but to help our lacking numbers. In regard to your helpful post re an Audi/MB day, I am feeling we need to give the MB guys here a little more time to commit, and I know its a little bit of slap in face given your helpful post, but I feel if things have not changed by middle of next week, prehaps we could then burden you with a request to ask your Audi forum, albeit as long as the onboard AMG guys are OK with this, I personally have no problem with this, lets just get as many of the guys who know each other to the event. I think it would be rude not to.

300 is more than I generally pay for track days but having watched the footage from the revival it looks a great circuit. I'm in subject to dates (end April/early May tricky as I'm getting married, though my name's not William).

April is always warn and dry, I should know, it's my birthday month, remember after April/May it rains solid for 3 months, then we get a bit at the end of summer with cold evenings then is all down hill from there!!!
