Well, I shall be available as I have had my contract terminated with effect from 18th Feb. I should imagine after the senior managers meeting I arranged next tuesday, I may well be available anytime from about 4pm that day.

Quite how the employer is going to justify its £9m hole in the budget to the council tax payers, and how intends to justify the fine for breach of contract, to the elected members of the council I don't quite know, however, come Tuesday, I should have 2 things, 1 is my job back with a not insignificant wage increase, or 2, the answer to the question "How does one defend the indefensible",.

I shall then write it in a book and make billions.


Still, I had considered suggesting maybe we meet at Pammy's and then perhaps get directed, or all pile in Rays van with windows! and travel to the Chomping establishment?

lol - sorry to hear of the prob's Mark. Hope it's sorted out fairly.

Parking's a bit tight at mine and I am about 20 mins away from the centre of Harrogate - trains permitting. But I'm happy for peeps to meet up here if that's what you want to do. There's plenty of room on the streets to park cars and yes Malcolm it is perfectly safe.

The multi storey near the Cattlemens is a nice car park and open all night.

It does happen obviously but I have never known anyone actually have any problem with their car in Harrogate and their are plenty of nice cars here.

I don't know who is staying over or where, but you'll want to have your cars at the relevant hotel for the night I would expect.

I am not driving into Harrogate. I'll get there by whatever means I need to, be that bus or taxi if Megs isn't around to drive me in - unless there is someone else offering - but I'm not asking! I will grab a taxi home too.

So I don't mind what people do - but do note - I do have two mad mutts so if you are dog averse meeting here might not be your best option Just let me know so I can buy more coffee and milk
