Apart from your company - people who are coming post eating out are bringing something with them - as you do ;) so it's just a case of what you want to bring.

As we are eating fairly early I'll have a few nibbles available after the meal (no smutty comments from anyone ;) ) I'll also have coke, lemonade, tea, coffee etc for those who won't be drinking but if there's anything specific you'd like then perhaps you could bring that.

Thank you again, I was going to bring some Acro props and a Kango hammer, or maybe an oscilloscope.

So there a couple of places avail for any last minute people. Enjoy

Due to a driver costing me around £150,000 early hours of this morning, by hitting the side of the Holsedale Tunnel on the M25, destroying the lorry, trailer and load and the electric control box:crazy: , I can no longer make this.
I am off to find a large gas oven, climb inside and shut the door. (After turning the gas on).
Sorry peeps.

Very sorry to hear that Graeme, that is truly appalling and something you clearly could have done without :(.

I hope all will work out well - will insurance cover this?

Thanks Steve.
I didn't realise I had posted the text again when I added the pics:o

I got no pictures of the lorry, as the Highways Agency were clearing the cones and I had to be quick to get these pics. By the time I turned round, the lorry was being towed out of the tunnel.
No doubt I'll get pics when it goes to my aproved repairers.

Oh dear. Sorry to hear the bad news mate. Does your insurance not cover you for this?

Yes, insurance will cover this and the vehicle and load, but I dread to think what my premium will be next year, as I already had the claim on the Renault in August:eek: .
The tunnel has only just re-opened after being refurbished:crazy:

Anyway, back on the topic of the gtg;)

Oops, I forgot about the premium

Oh well, at least it keeps the building industry going ;)

Ignoring the cost of the lorry, that tunnel work is going to be expensive, its an open cheque book to the ones doing it.

How does this affect your contract work, do you have to hire a lorry as well now
