I think if I wasn't waiting for the kids to leave home (and free up the space) I'd be on my way down to Portsmouth to buy a weekend car.

First one looks like a nice one - and good value for the age/mileage/spec - shame there's no sunroof though

I was wondering - needs new discs perhaps. But then only savy buyers would think about that, if there is something wrong it must me fairly obvious for someone not to gone for it. Or petrol costs mean it really is a small market.

Went to see the car last week, guy trades from a gated lockup, said showrooms were too expensive, hence all the car photos taken on southsea common, car was clean and the newly refurbed wheels looked good. Some rust on wheel arches and a fair bit in welds in the engine bay and boot, but not many are rust free. The service book was fully stamped by merc bar the last one and he showed me that receipt for the oil change A service. Other than the V5 and the last mot that was all the paperwork the car had. V5 Showed 3 previous owners. Was offered a p/x on my 320 but decided to walk. No inference intended here just my observation to aid any potential buyers travelling to view the car.

Sounds about average for the age/mileage.

I guess it needs some bodywork to make it A1. Shame as it looks nearly perfect in the pictures.
