Didn't it live behind a poster that it tore through every time it came out.

Airwolf was the best looking chopper , but i could never figure out how the government couldn't find it after Stringfellow Hawk stole it. It was a big black helicopter and he used to leave it in a hollow mountain in the desert ...

Even if they lost it , they would have an idea where it would be , they could just ask local folk ' seen a big black attack helicopter recently ? '

Or am i reading too much into it ?

It never needed fuel either. Just a long ride across the desert in a jeep and there it was.

No matter where Hawke and Santini were in the world - Hawke would say "let's get the lady" cue Santini in jeep and minutes later it would arrive. Only for Hawke to kick Santini out of the pilots seat and into the back.....

I saw Blue Thunder twice at the drive in cinema outside Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. I thought it was a great film.

I lived in Brazil prior to that and used to watch Starsky and Hutch, The Champions, CHIPS etc all in Portuguese.
