how would you rate car for interior space & general maneuverability around town ?
Is the rear camera a must ?

cheers

Interior space pretty good, manoeuvrability is OK but had an E-Class before the SB and that is not that much smaller. Parks itself into a fairly small space.

Personally I think that the rear camera is an absolute must.

Hi Diluxe,

The SB has a cavernous boot wrapped in a svelte rear quarter. But those thick C pillars and styled rear window means that vision out the back is extremely limited, so yes parking sensors and rear camera are a necessity.

Have also found the lane changing / side mirror assist very useful for the nearside.

I've had mine two years and clocked up 30k miles with no manoeuverability issues, been an absolute pleasure to drive.

The thing about MB is the tight turning circles...and if this is the same as an E class, then it has a tighter turning circle than many super minis and 4x4 suvs.

The boot is probably big when compared to a saloon CLS...but not compared to an E Class estate.

with seats down - 1,550 vs 1,855 - still a lot of boot

Indeed, I wasn't dissing the SB...but just giving answer to a question which may be posed regarding the differences.

In fact some of the E Classes have 1950!

The SB is very close to the C Class estates volume, 1550 v. 1510.
