Love that guy - I think he is one of our best character actors
Agreed. And he has a 1985 Mercedes: his daughter.

My cousin is Timothy Spall, actor from various series like auf wiedersehen pet and various films more recently....
I'm quite friendly with a very well known (and quite private) guitarist. We do a few charity gigs during the year, and he and is wife were recently round for dinner with a few others to discuss this years events.
Through him I've met David Bowie, Phil Manzanera, Guy Pratt, Mike Rutherford, Pete Townsend, David Crosbie, Graham Stills, Eric Clapton, Jules Holland, Sam Brown and a bunch of others. All were very nice, friendly people - happy to chat, etc, apart from Mr Holland who was a bit of a grouch. None of these would be friends, just aquaintances, although I've played with Phil and Guy a few times.
You´ve got me wondering who it is now.
Jimmy Page? Jeff Beck??
Jimmy Page used to live next to my dad near Farnham.
I reckon it could be old slow hand.
Absolutely cracking actor, I hope he's a nice guy in real life, not like most of them, up their own backsides.
Met Andy Cole once, one of my heroes till I met him, proper ********.
I always say to myself, keep them as heroes but never meet them, especially after that episode.
Every time I drove past the "Bar-L" on the way into Glasgow with the kids I used to point it out.

That was my first thought too, but it can't be – he's listed as one of the people Mr E has been introduced to by the mystery guitarist.
Not me, but my dad is good friends with Ray Hatton and Ricky Hatton.
Anyone beat that!!!
