Anyone on here got a CLK63 (not Black Series) Coupe?

Oh and while I am at it. lol.

Rash, you dont go anywhere to see another CLK63 AMG .. you are either indoors cause its raining or, so busy cleaning it to go anywhere!

Seriously though, my previous car was a CLK63 AMG (silver) 57 plate.

And in some ways it was a better car than the Black I have now. (4 Seats, less harsh ride, electric seats, etc) and I loved it.
But I Could not justify having both (which I did for 5 months). . .

And in the morning when I had to choose. . ah well, you know which one won.

Anyways, black cloth seats are easier to rub the spilt pasties and coke into when I miss my mouth.
(Please fetch Rash the Cardic Arrest machine!)
:D

LOL!!! :D:D

You cheeky bugger, Rob!

LOL!!!!!:D:D:D

Fair play for opting for Blackie - I would probably had done the same  :D

As for food and drink spills.... we've spoken about this before, Rob!! ;)

My god, man.

:D:D:D

Rash is the only CLK63 in the village...

If I was going for a 63 then it would have to be a CLS63, no offence but the C63 AMG's are every where, we have 3 at my work!

And I see them round where I live allot, they are great cars though!

Rash
thought you might have started that 63 register by now

LOL! :D

I knew you'd have something to say!

Well, here's an observation I have made...

I have seen 3 Black Series's in the flesh so far... and I have not seen another CLK63 (apart from one they had at Brooklands).

Rashman,

got your PM, but tried to PM you back it said you had exceeded your limit. Thanks for the input by the way, very helpful. Went for a test drive this morning, I'll put it all in the PM when you have some space.

Sounds like the one I tested, in absolutely superb condition, as you would expect. I was very impressed, so much so that if they can do me the right deal I will probably be the proud new owner:bannana:
Thanks for the heads up by the way, it's good to know people are looking out for you! I wasn't really looking for a CLK, I just stumbled upon this one in my search for something to use whilst waiting for the C63 facelift, but after having tested it I may well end up hanging on to it for a bit longer than I anticipated!

Ahhh. .12 for sale on Autotrader. . (do you hear that Rash!) lol

And only two Blackseries has come up for sale on Autotrader in the last 12 months (well that I have seen), but then Rash might be buying them all up so he can make sure he has seen more "Blackies" than CLK63's. . He has them all!!! :p

Oh boy, thats my free RFSD (Rash Free Special Detail) gone for a Burton!

Guess its back to the local Sainsbury's car park for me!
:wallbash:

I'd quite like a Black, but i need at least 4 seats at the moment so it's out of the running I'm afraid. In any case, although I don't want to upset anyone, if I was able to get something a little less practical it would be a 911 turbo:ban:

I've been trying to sort a deal out for the CLK63, but the dealership haven't been able to meet my requirements so I've told them I'm withdrawing my interest. Who knows, they may come back with an improved deal, but I'm not going to crack. To be fair they've had a couple of attempts, but they want more than I'm prepared to give. I have to say this forum has been a great source of help because in the past I'd probably have crumbled if I really wanted a car so much, and having driven the CLK I really did want it.
The ball's in their court now, and I'm not in any real hurry, so if they come back with an acceptable offer then I may still be in a nice CLK by next week, but I'm not holding my breath.
