:confused:HI everyone! I need help! i have a MB 2005 E220 Cdi which has Mercedes installed Audio 50 APS A211 BE7036 system navigator. i would very much like to install the command system navigator (with the bigger screen). i have had mixed views on whether i can do this or not. does anyone know if i can remove the Audio 50 APS and install the Command system instead.

Regards
Tony

P.S. i have checked on the left side of the boot and there does not appear to be any audio gateway there.

There is an Audio gateway, it is up between inner and outer wings.

You need the following
a) comand head unit
b) map disk
c) antenna (may be able to use existing depending on cabling)
d) nav unit
e) nav wiring loom
f) nav fibre loom
g) depending on your car's options, nav processor brackets and carpet

If you look in Mercedes Electronics upgrades, installation and retrofits there is an article on retrofitting comand to W211 E class - of course your car already has the AGW and wiring looms, so only part of the info applies

Where are you ?

Cheers
Richard
