My Dad used to have a Simca, I can even remember the reg of the bloody thing. What a rot box and you could hear it coming from miles away.

The tappets sounded like a sewing machine.

Mum had a bright orange 1.3 petrol Horizon (FLE 478T - god, how sad is that).

On the way to a Jam concert I managed to spin on some ice and T-bone an Allegro. Best thing for it! (although strangely Mum never did see my side of the arguement).
