basicaly, the AMG alloys must have the mercedes part number stamped; like Axxx xxx xx xx .. this is allways a good point to start looking

ALL Genuine Mercedes/AMG wheels have part numbers in them.

That will be the small town called Germany in Shzengdeng province; 3 hours north west of Beijing.

Correct AMG wheels have a part number starts with WMA

Whereabouts is the stamp on genuine amg's?

On the back of the wheel, usually on one of the spokes.

These wheels OP has are definitely copies, but why is there AMG logo on them? That's surely not allowed and the manufacturer can easily get in trouble.

Hard to be sure from the photos, but does look like AMG (some actually say "AMC", which in the right font will easily pass a casual inspection).

I guess AMG would have a hard job tracking down the manufacturer if they're in China, never mind doing anything about it.

Snide's them mate, like the Ralph Loren found in Turkey, Thailand & the likes...

Replica's are weaker and all round worse, I wouldn't advise anyone to use Replica's. Also in some countries like Thailand there are NO Copyright laws so its totally acceptable to make things appear something they are not.
