Armrest stowage jammed shut on 2018 c43. Any ideas?

Armrest stowage jammed shut. Buttons will not press in. Any ideas?

Assuming its a convertible does it lock on the central locking system for theft protection if left with the roof down?

My SL would default to locked when the consumable battery voltage dropped a bit after standing unused for a while. The answer for me was a trickle charger when off road during the winter.

You were correct. Put the hood back down and back up and it fixed the issue. Many thanks
