Yes, there are two types of Audio 10 - one made by Becker, and one by Alpine. The 'B' or 'AL' in the serial number tells you which you have.

Whether they are different or not, I've no idea.

I have a CD changer. The way to switch CDs on my Audio 10 CD is by turning the right knob!

My Audio 10 looks like this:

I've got an autochanger. If I hold down the left/right buttons it moves between tracks - holding down move between tracks quicker. The up/down buttons change CDs in the changer, with holding the button down moving either up or down the available CDs.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Ah right, mine is that shape but is the cassette variant.

Interesting about the Alpine/Becker differences. Are the Alpines the 'curvy' ones found in W203 generation MBs and are the Becker ones the 'squarey' ones found in W202 and W208 era cars?

Mine is defo curvy - I would say. Doesn't look like the one on the eBay entry

I'm pretty sure the new curvy looking ones are the Becker variant. I cant ffwd or rwnd on my unit either no matter what I try. I am looking into upgrading to an aftermarket unit so I can make full use of my sub and amp.
