Autoglym srp

I had the chance to do a little basic detailing today and I have got myself a little confused.

The car was washed with Autoglym Shampoo, then I polished with SRP and having read that it's a good idea to top SRP with a wax, so I used some Meguairs Gold Class wax.

This is where I have got myself confused, is it a good idea to seal the wax? I have some Autoglym Extra Gloss protection, which I know can be used on top of SRP, but can I use it on top of the Gold class?

smooth peanut butter is excellent on all exterior trims and doesnt wash off
