Autoglym super resin polish

You could always use one of the coloured polishes...
You should ber able to get a close enough match that the residue in the nooks n crannies doesn't show

I bought Autoglym SRP but am holding off using it as the paint is newish (2017). I bought it on a first detailing spree after reading great member reviews on this forum ☺

I bought the autoglym polish and gloss protection to try as well, just waiting for the weather to turn good.

are there any polish in the autoglym range that is more abrasive? i tried some of my friend's unknown polish it took out some scratches but made the paintwork dull, like the shine is gone. it needs to be corrected.

Yep I thought polish was used just to remove swirl marks etc

Why polish perfect paint?

I must have tried the majority of polishes, waxes etc etc.. I have been detailing cars for 25 years on and off..

One of the best products I have used is 50 cal show car filler glaze..

It does what it says, fills and glazes and leaves a great finish, particularly on darker cars ..

Easy to apply with no residue, DA or hand apply and can go under or over LSP..

If you apply and top with a decent wax (I'm currently on kiwami extreme gloss) the effects last 3/6 months ..

Yeah cotton bud are great little accessories to get into hard to access areas. I use them to clean the dust from the air vents.

Can you give a link for the "50 cal show car filler glaze" please? I tend to use Poorboys White Diamond or Black Hole, is this the same?

Poorboys is ok,bit chalky for me...

50 cal is a similar product,just a lot better...

I use a regular paint brush that I cut down (made the bristles shorter) to make it a little stiffer. works a treat getting polish out of nooks and cranies and effectively cost nothing had the brush lying around.

I'm currently using that and chalk/dusting issues aside not unhappy but may try something else next time. Topping off with EGP is worthwhile IMHO and not too much effort.

One tip though - get some latex gloves SRP and (especially) EGP are horrid products to get on your skin.

On a slightly different tack, I've 3 bottles of SRP and the same in SGP which are easily 10 years old, unused.....will they still be OK?
Just sorting out my garage and came accross them in Autoglym kits I have so I'm wondering whether to use em or throw?

I drop a couple of clean nuts/bolts into all my product bottles, helps agitate and mix product when you give it a shake.
