Automatic box problems.

Hi all,

i got a clear out of fault codes and a good 1.5ltr of gearbox oil added (thanks Paul).

The car has failed to drop gears and drives fine but i still feel that the MAF is still not working, i have disconnected and still no different. Also i have a very slight gearbox leak it appears to be coming from the sump gasket.

So Paul i might be back soon!

We will see what happens in the next few weeks.

Change all of that oil in the auto box just topping it up is not the answer.

It's time to get dirty and drain the box, your torgue converter may have a drain plug if you rotate it you will see it.

If not pull a pipe off the box and drain some off the t/converter holds a good amount too.

You will find with fresh oil it's like a new car...
