B180 engine

Not actually knowing anything about engines, particularly diesel ones, I'm just wondering specifically about the engine in the B180. Any good, reliable? Old engine, been around for ages? Etc etc

Thinking of buying a 2 year old one, but has about 35k on the clock, so quite put off.

I have a B180 diesel with 81k on the clock and have had no problems in the last three years of ownership. It's not fast, only 109bhp, but I tow my caravan with it, returning 30mpg and over 50mpg on a run. A manual gearbox should be a little better apparently.

Interesting. This one slipped through my fingers... Very high spec, sold at auction today for £11350!

Will be getting one soon though!
