Beading rain

Well car washed. Dried. R222 applied & buffed. Now to try this Fusso coat soft 99 you all got me to buy hahaha

Remember a coating of sealant is only a couple of microns thick at best. If you slather it on you will just end up making work for yourself when buffing the surplus off. Think of it as applying Fusso fumes. To do the entire bonnet you will only need to load the foam applicator once. Work a panel at a time allowing 15minutes to cure before buffing. Being PTFE-based, it is pointless applying a second coat because it will not adhere to the cured sealant. Luckily the same applies to dirt. The gloss should be immense on Obsidian Black so post up some finished pics in a new Fusso Coat thread to make us all jealous.

Hahaha it's your fault I'm doing this. Bought a pretty expensive power polisher for the buff stage. Won't use it to apply with though as that would spoil the fun. Bonnet & roof done so far. Looking good.

The neighbours looking at me stupid because I have a giant detailing tent round my car hahaha. Another new purchase due to something you said hahaha

Love a bit of beading. I'm a big fan of dodo juice products and their Future Armour is awesome!!

Gave my car a final seal of sonax BSD for the winter months, it's had 4 coats now.

For a silver coloured car I have quite a deep shine now:cool:

Pictures don't do the shine justice really

Came across a stone chip on the lip of my bonnet :(

And a bead shot

Cheers

Looks very slick and shiny.
Nice highlights.

Think it's better than my silver car.

Following a full detail (clean, clay, compound and polish), I got some Soft99 Kiwami on the car...

Looking very nice. I was a convert to Sonax this year via this forum.

Overall BSD is great all rounder. My favourite for deep shine is poor boys detailer but it's hard work to use in anything but warm weather. Therefore BSD tends to be my go to product.

The Sonax nano glass is another great product that gets used in the home as well.

The Collinite/Extreme Elements combo still holding up through winter...
