If it's Audio 20 then it will be pre-wired as standard with a carrier in the glovebox.

It's a plug-n-play solution.

Well when I finally get my car I understand on the W204 it is pre wired in the glovebox so literally plug and play.

LTD I see we have deliverys of new vehicle aroung similar time although mine not available until 6th March, I had dealer call to confirm today I am sure just to wind me up.

My car arrives at the dealer this coming Monday (18th). PDI means it'll not be ready before the 20th so the dealer suggested I wait until the 1st March so they can deliver it to me on a '13' plate.

Can't fault that from the dealer.

It really is that simple, open the glovebox and there is a small cradle the unit clips in to. Then your ready to go.
I stupidly paid full price for mine through the dealer as had not joined forum when I ordered my car and had not searched to see they were available elsewhere.

I've taken a base spec Audio 20 and no Becker from MB.

I have COMAND in my W220 but never really use the Navi as I usually know where I am going.

I'll make a decision later on about a Becker or a TomTom if I feel I have the need.

I was not impressed by the command used on a rental vehicle over xmas, I did compare to BMW version which is not good. I just felt it did not do much more than nav.
