Becker Map pilot problems

I got my Map Pilot with the car in March and have had no problems updating it not long after I got it. Went on the website last week and saw a newer version of the maps and downloaded. That's when the problems started. The new maps wouldn't install on the unit, failing at the final step with an error saying "package dependency failure detected". It won't install. Have uninstalled the content manager software. Turned off my AV software with no joy. The real bind is it's wiped the old maps so no the Becker doesn't work at all. Have emailed there customer support and got a standard reply about uninstalling/re-installing software etc etc. Can't get through on the phone as after 15 mins on hold they hang up. Could take it back to the dealer but paid €89.95 for the download so at least want my money back. Any help really appreciated as I have a very expensive paper weight ATM and no NAV in the car!

@c63chris Did you ever get this sorted? I have the exact same issue and its very frustrating as there is no information about this error on the internet and Becker have not come back to me yet...

Yes got it fixed by taking the car back to the dealer. They then replaced it under warranty and I've had no problems since. Sorry should've updated the thread.
