I'm sure its the same unit, the same part from MB was 600. Any of the recent cars without command and the slot in the glove box

Personally yes, I opted out when ordering mine knowing i could spend the rest on something else.

How good are these compared to a tomtom unit or to Comand?

I have one in my new B-Class, its definitely comparable to the COMAND unit in my CLS. The operation takes a little getting used to, but the overall directions have been spot on.

I too got mine from eBay for a lot less then the MB dealer. The only thing I hate about it the most is the voice input, it just doesnt work!

Don't be tempted to do the software update yet. It's duff.

Wait until Becker have ironed out the issues and released a version that doesn't screw the system up.
