Car sounds fantastic. The new S Class coupe is a lovely looking car. Look forward to seeing it!

The ceramic coating is definitely worth having applied too. Can still wash it by hand after but will leave years of protection on the paint so all it’ll need is a wash.

Great News Dave. Glad you are on the mend and the new car sounds fantastic, enjoy. Welcome to the Coupe Club + the S Coupe will be the last S-Class Coupe made as the new SL will be replacing the S-Coupe

The ceramic coating was the first thing I did when I bought the CL. Like you I use to enjoy polishing, must be an age thing Dave. It is so much easier to clean now.

As for the car, we had one for a week before the dealer deliver our 212 E63, I didn’t want to give it back ..... it’s lush.
Can I ask if you looked at the new Bentley Continental? They’re similarly priced for a year old one, it’s blooming phenomenal!

Looked at them H but not a lover really. I have a friend who's had a few of them and loves them but they're not really for me. Yes, they're a stunning car and probably up there with the best but a bit too ostentatious for my taste.
