I have put a deposit down help!

Hi all,
I think I have found the C32 that I am after here
The registration number is SV53 JXO.
Does anyone know the history of the car?
It has only done 20,000 and has 1 owner.
I have checked it out on the Russian site and all looks pucker.
FMBSH
TV, COMAND as well as all the other AMG refinements.
What do you think?

Looks great. Sooo tempting. Buy it before I do! Really a 2003 low mileage model like that for that money. Oh boy need to think of something else.

I notice its a Volvo DEALERSHIP. Are they offering some form of warranty like the Volvo Selected Used Car one?

remember that not many people leave positive reviews...usually people like to vent their frustrations... any company selling that many cars will have a few dissatisfied customers, unfortunately it goes with the business.

i bought a car from Arnold Clark - sales experience wasnt great but the car was and nothing went wrong with it.

if its a good car then go for it - probably unlikely to want to take it back to Arnold for any repairs/servicing anyway.....

That's stunning value if it all checks out.

Do watch out for warranty - if it were me, I'd want them to give it an MB Tier 1 warranty. They may be up for it, as they'd have to pay for their 'usual' approved used warranty anyway.

Same goes for a service, don't let them put their own stamp in the book - again insist on an MB service. It will very likely make a difference if you ever need to make a goodwill or mobilolife claim.

I am aware of their aftersales service as not being up to par.
But the car looks the biz and ticks all the right buttons.
I think I will take the plunge. It seems that there is always some risk involved no matter where you purchase from.

Your right even buying from a stealer can have problems and the warranty would be built into the price somewhere.

That looks like really good value! But it could almost double its current mileage getting to you

The C32 looks great, looks nice in Black and it looks like it's got Bi-Xenons, Heated Seats and Parktronic. Coupled with COMAND that's a nice spec for a C32. Preice looks very good for a very low mileage C32. I know they've depreciated a lot but that is a lot of car for the money.

If it's due a service insist that as part of the deal they get it done by Mercedes. My Dad once bought a Jag of a Merc main dealer and insited that they serviced it and had the number plate made up (for Private Reg) by the local Jaguar dealer.

It turned out that it needed quite a bit of work (over £1k)

Right,
Deposit has been paid and a P/X deal struck.
Meeting up in Oldbury near Birmingham to finalise the deal on the 8th March.
Anyone care to join me and point out where I'm going wrong?

They wouldn't budge on any warranty (apart from their one month or 1000 mile one) nor move on the price.
Almost walked away from it twice as I thought they were being extremely tight but the lure of a good car got the better of me.
