We are supporting the Air Ambulance this year. I thought it was very relevant to our hobby of motor vehicles and one day we may need them.... They do an fantastic job and I am very keen to help them out as much as possible. There will be a fee to pay on the door of £10 cash. We have no card facilities outside. The entrance fee is going straight to the Air Ambulance.

We hold a raffle on the day and welcome any automotive related (and booze) donations before the day.

The venue is the same as last year www.georgeinnfinchdean.co.uk The new Landlord is a huge petrol head and is very much looking forward to the event. They hold car shows at their other pub so they know their stuff. The food this year is going to be American BBQ and freshly made pizza. The food at the pub is going to be a true highlight I am sure. For those that have not been before there is a large parking area at the rear of the field to show off your car. We have local B&B's and a Travelodge nearby in Horndean.

Lets hope the sun is shining as always and you can make it. We have a max of 100 cars and as many guests as you wish.

The event starts at 12 at the pub. Food will be ready straight away.

We do have some early birds that like to come to our workshop beforehand. The PCS team including me will be there to answer any technical questions and if you wish to have some heavily discounted work done, a check over or a 'plug in' than we would be happy to help. Just email [email protected]

Boring (but important) bits.

1. I live in the village that the show is in, please be respectful of our neighbours when arriving and leaving the venue. There are lot of horse riders, cyclists and walkers around the village. I get told off every year..... :wallbash::)
2. Add your name to the list below if you can definitely make it. Max 100 cars.

A quick heads up as it may have an affect on your journey...

10-mile stretch of the M25 is now due to shut from 9pm on Friday, May 10, until 6am on Monday, May 13.

The motorway will be closed in both directions between junctions 9 (A243 Leatherhead) and 10 (A3 Wisley), to allow concrete beams for a gyratory bridge and a gantry to be lifted into place.

Well that's typical.
Did no one at National Highways do the double check as to when The Event Of The Year was taking place?

M40 and A34 a possibility for me I guess? Been that way before.
 
OK - So I'm coming down on the Friday morning so I will be able to get through the M25 in the normal manner. As for going back on the Saturday I will need to head south and then up the A34 to Oxford and cut across.

Ah heading up to Junction 11 is an option. Will need to see what is happening with the traffic as it might be an absolute nightmare.
 
Looks like it's M25, M23, A23 and A272 and an extra hour for me.
 
A3 will be busier no doubt, even the bottom end....
