Gotta say, after meeting Paul and his red C63 with the Black Series conversion, I was pretty impressed.
An illustration of how a conversion should be done.

Sadly I couldn't make it this year as I have just got back from a few days in Shropshire. Sounds like the day was a great success as usual but please, please, please can someone post up some pics so I can join in the fun in a virtual sort of way. Ta

My first time at this event. Wow it was brilliant. Great cars, great enthusiasts.

Lovely to put faces to some of the names on here.
Great to meet you Suky, Kiat, Steve and Dave thanks for giving it the beans for me:bannana:.

Olly thanks for slotting me in for unscheduled diagnostics, after my dashboard lit up on the way down to PCS (such irony:doh:).

Thank you and Natacha and all other organisers for this charity event.

Just got back from the event (1.30am) very tired but a good day nice to catch up with friends new & old, although I didn't seem to have time to get round everyone..

good to see you too mate

What a great day. Well done to Olly and Natacha and all the team at PCS who must have worked so hard to pull this together.

We enjoyed a lovely drive down down from Kent (that's a lie, I spent the entire journey imagining every single rattle or squeak noise, was terminal). Ended up by pure chance joining Dash and some others in convoy as the exited the services on the A3 south.

We got to meet Natacha in person and were so glad we did. Thank you for all your hard work in pulling together the booklet on my car and welcoming us all to the day.

Seeing all the cars sat out in the glorious sunshine in the afternoon was great. Sad not to Charles Morgan's 114, but (as always) delighted to see Charles made it to the day.

Would we go again? Yes 100%
Would we recommend others go? Yes 100%

I was so chuffed to win a prize for my 124 Wagon for the 'Cleanest Car in Show'. Unexpected and delighted. That was a lovely reward for lot's of effort that went into getting the car ready. It was really gratifying to hear so many nice comments about the car and to be asked so many questions about her and her build/restoration.

It must have been show day. On our drive back we passed convoy of American Police cars, including a couple Chevorlet's, resplendent in Police livery and lights. Then on the M25 we were literally surrounded by a large group of very exotic Porsche's who drivers and passengers all wanted to get alongside and wave at us (Nice waves not 'Gareth Hunt style)

So many people asked me about the car's Colour scheme & paint?

It is Willow Green Metallic, over Gallinit Grau. This is the original factory colour scheme. The car was completely repainted in 2015 having been stripped to bare metal and repaired. This was done by Vehicle Solutions South East - VSSE.co.uk in Hastings , Sussex. Thank you again to Brian - ZipDip. Who collected a dog guard from Ipswich and delivered it me 'On the Green' after I requested help on here. Well done Brian, a lovely gesture and much appreciated. Well done to everybody who must have worked so hard to make the day such a success for us all to enjoy.

Thank You.

Just finished up the finer details of BOTG.
Looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow.

I hope you all enjoy our event. It can only happen with the support from enthusiasts. So, thank you all for making the effort to come.

FYI I'm the chubby bloke with a pint of bitter in hand. Come and say hello.

Olly

Well done PCS team for organising a great day. Glad to have met all the crazy MB nuts, er, like me!

By the way, Oliver, I forgot to mention the 2 bottles of Loire red in the boot. I recommend drinking them chilled on a sunny evening.

Over exposed (photo) but it was bright. Lovely loud CLK without the engine even being on.
I didn’t get the interior well on camera, but it’s got me interested in red now
