Ok, so I have sent PM's out to all of those who I am able too. There are a few who are too new to PM but also haven't signed on here for a while. My guess is they have registered on the forum to come to the event but not actively using it. I hope you see this as I really want you to enjoy the day and you wont be impressed if you turn up on the day and I have no idea who you are. I do hope that that we do not have people behaving as you suspect. It’s not in the spirit of the day and is a knock back to all who follow the few and very simple rules.

This was why I joined this forum in the first place, to be honest. I found out about this event from a E class owners club on Facebook. Which really appealed to me & my son. Now I'm here? I may stay a little lol
But still can't PM any one. No biggie!

No problem Bruce ill be straight round, ill need a left handed hammer though?!

My concern is that people will turn up and then think we are a most unorganised bunch! Half the fun of it is having the lanyards on so people can put faces to forum names and how p****d off will these people be if they turn up to find no space for them after potentially traveling a long way? I have had replies to me PM's from people who have, as i suspected, just forgotten. Life gets busy, we forget to do things and I get that, which is why I would rather PM that make it known to all on the list above. I just worry that the whole experience of the day will be slightly tarnished if they get here and aren't getting what they were expecting. But hey ho, I have done all I can

I'm looking forward to this road trip! I grew up in Hampshire and can't think of a better car to go around cruising in my 350 surround by more MB & others all in the "same boat"

Benz on the Green 2019 is taking place on Saturday 11th May. If you’ve joined us before, you’ll know that it is a wonderful day out for all the family with a bouncy castle, face painting, a sweet shop and plenty of games to make this a day out for the whole family.
The field of Mercedes Benz cars is the icing on the cake! A friendly event with lots of like minded people, and we always book good weather....
This is one of the most exciting Mercedes events in the UK. Please search the forum for previous years threads and you will soon find out, you don't want to miss this!

Benz On The Green 2019 sees a change of direction in the charity we wish to support. We will be supporting The MS Society.

The day starts at the Prestige Car Service (PCS) workshop in Horndean, Hampshire. PCS is the number 1 Mercedes specialist in Hampshire. Olly, Jack and Graham will be offering one-day-only discounts on all work, as well as special offers on air conditioning services and diagnostic checks using their Mercedes Star diagnostic tool. A separate thread will be created for the workshop offers so keep an eye out.
Simon from Eco Vehicle Tuning will also be here with some excellent deals on re-mapping. If you would like to take advantage of these special discounts please make sure you book your car in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment (email Natacha at [email protected]). You do not have to come to the workshop first, you are welcome to just come to the pub for the start at 12pm.

We started a new way of doing the list last year and it worked really well so we will stick to that this year. We will be asking for the £10 (PER CAR) ticket price when you have put your name down on the list below, payable only by PayPal. Your payment conformation email is your ticket, please dont forget it!
This is NON - REFUNDABLE & NON- TRANSFERABLE. I hope you can understand why we have had to do it this way, if you cannot make it, then your ticket money will of course go to the charity. Our paypal address is: [email protected] . Please put your FORUM NAME & REAL NAME in the payment reference box, nothing else. Please read and follow these rules below very carefully. Your info pack about the event will come through to the email you use on paypal. You will recieve a lanyard with your name on, on the day. When you arrive at the event whether that be the pub or workshop, please collect your lanyard then.
