Best way to find out car spec

I'm woundering if there's a easy way to find out the spec of a car as it left the factory?. Sat nav lsd ect?.
Web site or similar with using just the reg?

Make a note of the Vin# given in the above site and enter it into THIS site to get your datacard.

I have found a couple but trying to do as much research on them as possible.... But missing e55 so much!!
