this should mean you only need 10mm spacers .. if you use 25mm spacers, your front wheel will be 1cm further out, nearly, if not actually, further out than the wheel arch.
You're correct about the positioning of the wheel edges to the wheel arches etc, but different wheels are different shapes and will need different clearance for the brake caliper.

Thanks Sean, yes ideally 10mm spacers would work, but because of the wheel design, I'm not sure 10 will be enough. I need to try with a range and see if it would work.
Now the issue is that, is it safe to run spacers that big? Otherwise I will have to sell the wheels
Hi, I have been running 25mm spacer/adapters on my S4 for over a year with no probs. this is because the wheels were 5x130 et 60 and I needed them to be 5x112 with an et 35 so they sat flush with the arches! Out of query what is the offset required to make CLS wheels sit flush with the arch? Am picking up my 55 AMG up on Monday.
