I went in complaining of a groaning noise coming from the nearside rear. They diagnosed the cause as a worn brake pad and the cause of the cause as a seized caliper. The solution: a new pad to replace the worn one, another new pad on the other side, a new disc because of the scoring, the same on the offside to keep everything even, and a new caliper was not cheap. But hey ho.
At every point they explained what was going on and what my options were. What particularly pleased me was that it was Graham, the new guy, doing the explaining.
When companies expand they often lose what makes them special. Not PCS, at least not yet.
