Black lettering?

Thoughts please on changing to black lettering on my Calcite white E63?

Also what are people doing to get black lettering? Painting their original ones? Buying from somewhere after market? I don't suppose they are available from Merc in black?

Matte black? Gloss black?

I'd look for something reversible (the colour, not the letters ) so at sale time you can return to standard.

Buyers like standard IMO.

Just done mine gloss black had the body shop do it when they painted my bumper.. I'm happy with black one but you can buy gloss an matt ones on eBay

Some opt for plasti- dipping the badges.

Peels off if you decide later to revert to chrome badges.

I personally like black writing on white cars.

As for gloss or matt, I think I would prefer matt but would be easier to judge in the flesh or a picture.

If you take them off just make sure they go back aligned perfectly I've noticed with MB lettering especially I can spot it immediately when things aren't in place

Not had a chance to fit them yet, was waiting to get it all done with front lip, mirrors, spoiler, wheels and suspension.

OR get weistec downpipes and midpipes remap and quaife LSD.

Undecided.

Debadged mine and will get star badge wrapped gloss black.

Ordered off ebay, Think it was about £45-£50 can't remember exactly now.

Only thing was the AMG was in the old style compared to the new one but wasn't a big deal to me as it's matt black anyway.
