"Bloody Walls!"

A sausage did that to your car!

...

Is there any deformation of the steel/plastic or is it gouges down to them?

the rear arch has been slightly pushed in and is slightly out of alignment against the door about 1cm. Apart from that it's scratches. The chrome trim is fine

side view - that's the wall i hit in the reflection

Trip to the bodyshop. It's just one or those things, we've all been there at some time or another :o

You have to watch out for those walls - sneaky buggers jumping out on you all the time

I had a 60 foot long 10 foot high wall jump out on my van once - still I showed it whos boss by knocking a whacking great hole in it !

My favourite body styling specialist is one of a pair of small metal latches which the garage door shuts onto.

I like to steer the car so that it makes contact and fits me a nice go-faster stripe on the bumper.

A small version of what i did to my passenger door, was gutted when i did it. Just one of those things. wouldn't of thought a few hundred quid at the most, good luck. T.

The only real difference is that we have pictures for this one :D

You could jack the back corner up take the wheel off pull the liner back or take it out that way you will be able to get a wedge in there (wooden) and just tap it with a malit and hold a hammer or flat metal on the out side to stop it this will help stop the metal coming out too far. Hope this helps.

I got a quote from an insurance approved bodyshop..

£2000 plus vat. Must have seen me coming

Send some good pictures of the damage to Scuffbusters (scuffbusters.co.uk) for a comparison.

They are based in Tunbridge Wells so a trek from Beds, but might be worth it - and they do loaners.

That reminds me of my best Buddy when he was selling his Lotus Esprit. He had effectively sold it so took it out for a final thrash...unfortunately managing to clear 60' of thick stone wall,

Ker-Chink...no Sale...
