Hi guys n gals
I have a 52 plate 320CDi estate that developed a heater problem today....
Mrs went to work in her and rang to say the heater motor carried on running after she locked the car?
After 30 mins at her call came back to the car and surprise of suprises the battery was fklat but the blower motor was STILL running?
After a jump start we took the car4 home and took out all the fuses pertaining to the heater and Auxillary heater motors but the fan is still running....
Took the heater control module out adn its STILL running
Have now disconnected the battery ?

Hi ive changed my blower motor today to access it there are 2 x T20 screw under the passenger side pull this off then there is a multi plug under neath unplug this and it will stop as this where the power comes from, this plugs into the resistor pack which the fan then plugs into hope that makes sense, just a question did she press the 'ec rest/ac off button' as this puts the heater blower on for about half hour without the keys in the car ? Just a thought but this should turn off once you cycle the ignition. Sounds like a fault resistor pack if you want one ive got the one i took out of my car it works fine just swapped it along with the motor as mine was squeaking when cold for a min or two lol and im a fussy sod :)

Cheers Charlie
Ive removed the undertray to get at the blower gubbins so will have a look at the Resistir and see if thats where the problem lies...
Sounds like that as reading the other posts it seems a common fix....
If I need you parts where about are you ?
Im In Stoke on Trent but we are going to Bradford some time this week?
Many thanks for the reply
