Is it me or is it complete guff?!

Just used the MB Blue Efficient comparison calculator on thier website for the ML350 CDI - thinking about a purchase.

Yet all the compariable come out better on price for virtually everything.....

MB are you trying to shoot yourselves in the head? or am I stupid and using the calculator incorrectly..

*I may be stupid.

There does seem to be a fair bit of snake oil in greenery claims.

Braking energy regeneration for example, the alternator only runs while decelerating unless necessary to keep the charge nicely primped.
Jolly big name for not such a big deal if you ask me.

I too could be wrong.

Waste of time, the DPF fitted to those vehicles causes a much more adverse effect on MPG than a fuel efficiency saving measures

Had one as a loaner last week when mine was in for some work doing. 1.6l A Class.

Mixed driving averaged 32 mpg. Damned annoying light flashing on the dash telling you when to change gear - why not just have an auto box?

Bag of ****
