C180
Hi everyone. I just bought a 2005 c180 today. In the arm rest compartment is a bluetooth device. My phone can find it but it asks for the pairing code and I cant find it. I have looked through the manuals. Just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction.
thanks martyn

On my ML when it asks for a BT code I can input anything on the head unit as long as I enter the same number on the phone.

If you want to remember it easily it's MBUSA on a T9 number pad.

Your phone will only find it when it is put into pairing mode. If your phone is finding something called SNI..... then that is not it, that is the (long since defunct) headset bluetooth system which was part of the phone system between about 2004/2005 and 2007, then removed as it caused more confusion than not.

You put the HFP (black bluetooth adapter) in pairing mode by holding down the bottom section (it clicks when you press it) for about 10 seconds and the blue LED starts flashing fast

Then search on your phone, and there is a device called MB bluetooth, or MB phone system (or similar),

As everyone says, pairing code is 62872

Cheers
