BMW 1-series coupe...or old 3 series?

Time you looked at the JD Power Initial Quality Survey in the US where the Mercedes S class came out least faults of any car on the market (1st equal with Audi 8). E class and other Mercs did really well too. Things have changed a lot IMO.

Here we go again about JD surveys . What the US statistics has to do with this beats me. Without , ( at this time of the night ) trawling through the United Kingdom data, you will find , (according to the UK data) , certain BMW s far outclass Mercs...and certain Mercs far outclass Bmw's !!!

Statistics....figures... faults .....economy...........Blairs gone !...

It won engine of the year award.

I have just finished reading an entertaining article about those very awards. If you have enough categories, everyone get's a prize. Bit like the JD Power stuff (28 categories), in my mind.
