Just a thought, but do BMW owners when buying the car and selecting optional extras, disregard indicators and plump for the fog lights instead?

Very much in the same way you Mercedes drivers select the pipe holder and high roof line to allow room for top hats and the non reflective rear view mirror.

I only drive a merc so i have room for my top hat and i holder for my pipe, i went for a model with indicators though, i didn't need fog lights, visibility is pretty good in the daytime.
