Hi all,
Just had a bit of work done on the front offside wing and the guy had to open the bonnet to polish the inside of wing. He struggled getting it closed but we figured out the release lever wasn't fully back. Anyway, it's now shut but the dash is saying the bonnet is open.
I've looked and nothing looks like it has been moved, dislodged or come away. I've unplugged the sensor (on latch itself?) and reconnected but still saying it's open.
Is this just a coincidence the latch/sensor has failed or is there something else I can look at? I notice there's 2 small disc like sensors located on the inside of the wing at either side near to the hinges. Are these connected to the 'bonnet open' warning at all or totally unrelated? They have 2 yellow multiplugs and I've not touched these (SRS?).
Any info/advice greatly appreciated.
Gary
