'Book' price for Honda Jazz?

It does make me wonder how long before we need bits on the Jazz - ours has done 80k now on a 54 plate.

You don't mind so much if you buy it second hand for £3k or whatever we get for it privately (if we get that) but when you've had 7 years with nothing but routine maintenance (except AC comp clutch), you don't really want to start now - particularly as we've now ordered a Puke.

Ah ok.

The misses bought her's new but I don't think she is that attached to it.

I also wonder how long before expenditure looms - especially as it will be nearly 7.5 come the trade in in March (assuming I can do a deal with Nissan).

I daren't look for rust!

If it's anything like Mrs Dm's old Fiat Tipo, the wait will be a long one. Having had the car for a long time She said she would change it if either anything big went wrong or it failed an MOT test.

About six years later she changed it due to boredom...not surprising, it was 16 years old then...

Oh, no rust either apart from a moody accident repair, which I then sorted.

Boredom from car or you ?

Mrs JB has done well keeping it for what will be 7.5 years. I don't think she is bored of it but fancies a change. She's kept it 4 years longer than any car I've had so it is fair enough.

If the Puke does the figures, I can see us hanging on to that for the same time or more.
