Boot, gap ,adjustment, w124.

Hi just looking at my boot lid ,i can see the gap is not the same .The left side is less than the right hand side .Is it possible to line this up the same on both sides. Looking at the hinge on the lid i can not see any adjustment. The same for the fixing in the boot it looks like no adjustment on there. It must be adjustable ,can a member come up with answer please. This car as not been with me long ,it was a one owner car ,and a gift from my cousin , and never damaged .Thank you for looking .

Dec thank you ,i know it could be done .Only just noticed the gaps .The car as only been in my ownership 2 months .So now i can put it right . The forum is the place to be .Haynes as nothing on the forum members like you .
