Boot lock

I have a 2001 320 CLK and got a big problem

There is a key broken in the boot lock (like that when i got it) and now the central locking is not unlocking the boot.

I have a locksmith on call to get into the boot but i want to replace the boot lock with another one when i get this done.

The problem is.... finding another lock with keys.

Is the boot lock the same as the tin top model or is it different?

Looked around and no one seems to be breaking a 2001 CLK

Even tried Eb*y without much sucess

Any suggestions?

You can buy locks from Mercedes that will match your keys or a good locksmith should be able to change the tumblers in a s/h lock to match the keys.

the problem is .... Mercedes want silly money for a new lock and cant find one used
